Anna Hoła (PhD. Eng. Arch.), assistant professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST), Poland. She obtained a MSc in Architecture and Urban Planning from WUST in 2006 and a PhD (Hons) in Architecture and Urban Planning from WUST in June 2013.

Author of more than 80 scientific works, including articles in journals in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) database and national research projects carried out as part of scientific and research cooperation with the environment. Has 130 citations in Web of Science and 180 in SCOPUS.

Participation in research projects:

  • contractor in the project "Hybrid tomograph for testing the moisture and condition of the building", implemented in 2016-2018 by NETRIX S.A., financed from the Intelligent Development Operational Program 2014-2020 within Measure 1.1: "R&D projects of enterprises"
  • contractor in the project "Model for assessing the risk of construction disasters, accidents and hazardous events at workplaces using construction scaffolding", financed by the National Center for Research and Development, implemented in 2016-2018 by a scientific consortium including: Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the Lublin University of Technology, the Faculty of Management of the Lublin University of Technology, the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Wroclaw University of Technology and the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering of the Lodz University of Technology
  • main contractor of the project "Exhibitions and gardening exhibitions in Wroclaw", implemented in 2010-2013, financed by the National Science Center

  • research on damp and saline brick walls in historical buildings
  • improving of the methodology of in situ moisture research
  • diagnostics of historical objects using non-destructive methods
  • non-destructive testing
  • applications of artificial intelligence in construction
  • secondary moisture protection and wall drying methods
